- Β½ cup Sugar
- 10 Cloves
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 4 β 5 cup Water
Instructions
- Take 15 palayankodan bananas, peel off the skin and cut it into pieces.
- In a pressure cooker, add chopped bananas, cloves and water.
- Cook for 2 whistles.
- Take a pan and filter all juices in the banana.
- Add Β½ cup sugar and mix well.
- Boil this liquid for few minutes. It turns a reddish color.
- Add 2 tbsp lemon juice and mix well.
- Boil for few minutes. Once it turns a little thick, switch off the flame. The liquid should not be thick, it's watery and slightly coated on the spoon.
- Transfer it into a bowl and allow it to cool.
- After cooling, it comes into a jam consistency.
- Tasty banana jam is ready to serve.

Note
