Cookery ParkIngredients
- 10 Pappad
- 1 cup Small onion (chopped)
- Salt (as needed)
- Oil (as needed)
- ΒΌ tsp Mustard seeds
- 1 Red chilly
- 1 tsp Urad dhal
- few Curry leaves
For grind
- Β½ cup Coconut
- 1 tsp Red chilly powder
- ΒΌ tsp Turmeric powder
- Β½ tsp Jeera
Instructions
- Fry papadam and break it into small pieces keep it aside
- In a mixie, add coconut, jeera, red chilly powder and turmeric powder grind coarsely
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, red chilly, urad dhal and curry leaves
- Add chopped small onions and salt saute well until it turns golden brown
- Add coarsely grinded coconut saute well
- Finally, add papadam pieces and stir well
- Papadam thoran / Papadam poriyal is ready to serve with rice.
