- 2 cup Beetroot (finely grated)
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1Β½ cup Milk
- ΒΌ cup Ghee
- 1 tsp Cardamom powder
- 10 Cashewnut
Instructions
- Heat ghee in a pan.
- Add cashew nuts and roasted it well. Take it out and keep it aside.
- Add grated beetroot and saute for a few minutes.
- Add 1 Β½ cup milk and cook for a few minutes.
- After a few minutes, milk evaporates and the beetroot mixture starts to thicken.
- Add 1 cup sugar and mix well.
- After a few minutes, the sugar dissolves and it turns watery.
- Stir well and cook this for a few minutes. After a few minutes, it starts to thicken.
- Finally, add roasted cashew nuts and cardamom powder mix well.
- Beetroot halwa is ready to melt in the mouth.
