What is Benne biscuit
Benne biscuit is a famous bakery biscuit in India. It is a three ingredient biscuitĀ recipeĀ or cookie recipe prepared using a few ingredients like maida, sugar and oil. It isĀ eggless, butterless biscuits or cookies. Normally butter or ghee is used to make benne biscuits. But I used oil to make this biscuit recipe. It is easy homemade butterless cookies or biscuits every can make in a few minutes.Ā HomemadeĀ biscuits are healthy compared to store-bought ones. Kids like these bakery oil biscuits very much. - 1 Ā½ cup Maida
- Ā½ cup Sugar
- Ā½ cup Vegetable oil
- 3 Cardamom
Instructions
- Grease oil in a baking tray and keep it aside.
- In a mixer, add Ā½ cup sugar and cardamom and grind it into powder.Ā
- Add Ā½ cup oil into it and grind it smoothly.
- Transfer this grinded mixture into a mixing bowl.
- Add 1 Ā½ cup Maida and mix well.
- Make small balls out of this mixture and place them into the greased baking tray.
- Preheat the oven to 180 C for 10 minutes and bake the biscuits at 180 C for 15 minutes.
- Once baked, take it out and allow it to cool.
- Tasty benne biscuits are ready to serve.

Note
1.If the dough is dry, add more oil and knead the dough.
