- 1 cup Sundakkai ((Turkey berry))
- 1 Onion (chopped)
- 1 Green chilly (chopped)
- 1 Tomato (chopped)
- 4 Egg
- 2 tsp Oil
- ΒΌ tsp Mustard seeds
- Curry leaves (few)
- ΒΌ tsp Turmeric powder
- Β½ tsp Red chilly powder
- Salt (as needed)
- Coriander leaves (few)
Instructions
- Crush Sundakkai and wash it well with water and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add mustard seeds and curry leaves and saute well.
- Add chopped onion and green chilly saute well on low flame until it turns golden brown.
- Add washed Sundakkai and saute well for a few minutes.
- Add chopped tomato and saute for a few minutes.
- Cover and cook for a few minutes on low flame until Sundakkai cooked well.
- Once Sundakkai is cooked well, add red chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt and saute it well until a nice aroma comes.
- Add eggs and mix well with Sundakkai.
- Cover and cook for a few minutes on low flame.
- After a few minutes stir well on low flame.
- Finally, add chopped coriander leaves and stir well.
- Tasty Sundakkai egg poriyal is ready to serve.
