- 20 Small banana
- 2 cup Jaggery
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- 1 cup Coconut milk
- ΒΌ cup Coconut pieces
- 10 Cashew nut
- 10 Raisins
- 1 tsp Cardamom powder
Instructions
- Peel off the banana skin and add it to a blender and grind it into a smooth paste.
- Heat 2 tbsp of ghee in a pan.
- Add coconut pieces and roast until it turns golden brown.
- Add cashew nut and raisins and roast well. Take it out and keep it aside.
- Add grinded banana paste and saute for a few minutes or until the banana is cooked well.
- Add 2 cups of jaggery and cardamom powder mix well until jaggery melts completely.
- Add 1 cup of coconut milk and mix well.
- Add roasted coconut and cashew nuts and mix well.
- Healthy banana payasam is ready to serve.
