For this coconut jaggery ladoo, cook desiccated coconut/ coconut powder / fresh coconut in milk and add jaggery for sweetness. Add cardamom powder and chopped nuts mix together and make deliciousĀ ladoos. NormallyĀ coconut ladduĀ is prepared with condensed milk. Here we donāt use condensed milk. - 2 cup Desiccated coconut
- 1 cup Jaggery
- 2 tsp Ghee
- 10 Cashew nut (chopped)
- 1 tsp Cardamom powder
Instructions
- Heat ghee in a pan.
- Add 2 cups of desiccated coconut and saute for a few minutes.
- Add 1 cup jaggery and mix well.
- After a few minutes, the jaggery dissolves.
- Stir well and cook this for a few minutes. After a few minutes, it starts to thicken.
- Finally, add cashew nuts and cardamom powder mix well.
- Allow this mixture to cool.
- Once cooled well, take a small portion out of this mixture and shape it as a laddu.
- Delicious coconut jaggery laddu is ready to melt in the mouth.
