Ingredients
  

  • 4 Bajji chilly (chopped)
  • 1 Onion (chopped)
  • Ginger (small piece chopped)
  • 5 pods Garlic ( crushed)
  • Curry leaves (few chopped)
  • Coriander leaves (few chopped)
  • ½ cup Gram flour
  • ½ cup Rice flour
  • Salt (as needed)
  • 2 tsp Chilly powder
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp Asafoetida
  • ½ tsp Fennel seeds
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • Oil ( for frying)

Instructions

  • Cut the bajji chilly into thin lengthwise pieces.
  • In a mixing bowl, add chopped bajji chilly, onion, ginger, coriander leaves, curry leaves, crushed garlic, gram flour, rice flour, salt, asafoetida, chilly powder, turmeric powder and fennel seeds mix well.
  • Add 1 tsp oil and mix well. Don’t add water. Combine all ingredients well until the flour stick to the vegetables. If necessary, sprinkle some water into it.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Take some portion of the bajji chilly mixture and sprinkle it in hot oil.
  • Fry all sides of bajji chilly pakora on medium flame until it turns crispy and golden brown.
  • Crispy bajji chilly pakora is ready to serve with hot tea.
