In a blender, add coconut and jeera grind it coarsely
Heat oil in a pan
Add mustard seeds when it splutters, add urad dhal, chana dhal, redchilly and curry leaves
Add chopped onion and saute until it turns golden brown
Add green chilly saute well
Add chopped beans saute for few minutes
Add water and salt into it and stir well
Cover and cook for a few minutes on a low flame
Dry well without water
Add turmeric powder and asafoetida stir well
Add grinded coconut and stir well
Beans poriyal is ready to serve with rice
