In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup gram flour, baking soda, salt and yellow colour.
Add required water mix well without lumps and make a liquid consistency batter.
Heat oil in a pan.
Pour the batter on the holed spoon or skimmer, spread it using another spoon.
Fry boondis until cooked well. Don’t cook the boondis too crispy. If it is cooked too crispy sugar syrup doesn’t absorb well and the ladoo becomes hard.
Fry all boondis and keep aside.
Take a pan, add 1 cup sugar and ½ cup water mix well.
Add cardamom powder and yellow color mix well.
Boil the sugar syrup until it comes to one string consistency.
Add the sugar syrup to boondi mix well.
Cover and keep it for few minutes.
After few minutes, all sugar syrup is absorbed well.
Heat ghee in a pan, add cashew nuts and raisins fry well and add it to boondi.
Mix well and shape it as a ladoo.
Soft and juicy boondi laddoo is ready to serve.
