In a mixer, add coconut, jeera coarsely grind it and keep it aside.
Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, urad dhal and curry leaves.
Add chopped small onions saute it until it turns golden brown.
Add chopped green chilly and saute well.
Add cabbage saute for few minutes on low flame.
Add salt, turmeric powder sautes well.
Add 2 tbsp of water and cover and cook for a few minutes.
Dry well without water.
Add grinded coconut stir well.
Very tasty and easy cabbage poriyal is ready to serve with rice.
