Chilli bajji | Mirchi bajji | Milagai bajji is an easy Indian tea-time snacks recipe. It is a quick evening snacks recipe have with hot tea.

- 5 Green chilly
- 1 cup Gram flour
- ¼ cup Rice flour
- Baking soda (a pinch)
- Salt ( as needed)
- 2 tsp Chilly powder
- ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
- ½ tsp Asafoetida
- Red color (optional)
- Oil (for frying)
In a bowl, add besan flour, rice flour, salt, asafoetida, chilly powder, red color and baking soda mix well.
Add enough water mix well without lumps and make a thick batter.
Heat oil in a pan.
Take a chilly and dip it in the gram flour batter. Coat the batter well on all sides of the chilly.
Drop it into the hot oil.
Deep fry both sides until it cooks well.
Chilly bajji is ready to serve with hot tea.
