Take a pan, add ragi flour and dry roast well until nice aroma comes andallow to cool
Grease oil in a baking pan and keep aside
Take a mixing bowl, add curd and jaggery and mix well until jaggery dissolves
Add vegetable oil and mix well
Take a Siever, add roasted ragi flour, wheat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sieve well without lumps
Mix flour and jaggery mixture well
Add vanilla essence mix well
Add milk little by little and mix well until it comes to a creamy consistency
Add this cake mixture to the greased baking pan
Add chopped nuts to the top of the cake
Tap the pan twice to remove air bubbles in the batter
Preheat oven at 180 °C for 10 minutes and bake the cake mixture at 180 °C for 30 - 40 minutes
Take it out and insert a toothpick to check whether the cake is cooked or not. If the toothpick comes out clean, the cakeis cooked. Otherwise, bake it for few more minutes
Allow the cake to cool completely
Cut it into pieces and enjoy
