KFC friedchicken recipe is a non-vegetarian, chicken snack recipe using chicken, flourand spices. It is a KFC-style fried chicken that can be easily made at homewith normal ingredients in our kitchen.

Ingredients
  

For marinating chicken

  • 4 pieces Chicken (big size)
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 Egg
  • Salt (as needed)
  • 1 tsp Chilly powder
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Pepper powder
  • 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste

For flour mixture

  • 1 cup Maida
  • ½ cup Corn flour
  • 1 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • Salt (as needed)
  • 1 tsp Pepper powder

For frying chicken

  • Oil (as needed)

Instructions

  • Cut slits in the chicken pieces and keep them aside.
  • In a bowl, add milk and lemon juice mix well until milk is curdled.
  • Add 1 egg and beat well.
  • Add salt, 1 tsp chilly powder, ¼ tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp pepper powder and 2 tsp ginger garlic paste mix well.
  • Add chicken pieces and dip them in the masala mixture.
  • Cover and rest it for at least 3 hours.
  • In a bowl, add maida, cornflour, chilly powder, coriander powder, pepper powder, salt mix well.
  • After 3 hours, take marinated chicken pieces and dip them in the flour mixture.
  • Press it and coat all sides of the chicken with flour. Shake the chicken and remove the extra flour.
  • Take cold water in a bowl and dip the coated chicken piece in cold water.
  • Again, dip the chicken piece in a flour mixture.
  • Press it well and coat all sides of the chicken with flour. Shake the chicken and remove the extra flour.
  • Flaky chicken pieces are ready to fry. 
  • Heat oil in a pan. 
  • Drop chicken pieces one by one in hot oil.
  • Fry chicken pieces in low flame until chicken is cooked well and it turns crispy.
  • Crispy and juicy fried chicken are ready.
