In a pan, add chopped cluster beans, salt and water and mix well.
Cover and cook until cluster beans are cooked well.
Drain the water from cluster beans and keep aside.
Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan.
Add mustard seeds, urad dhal, red chilly and curry leaves and saute well.
Add cooked cluster beans and stir well.
Add turmeric powder, asafoetida and salt mix well and saute for a few minutes.
In a mixer, add coconut, green chilly and jeera grind coarsely.
Add this coarsely grinded coconut into cooked cluster beans and stir well.
Cluster beans stir fry/ kothavarangai poriyal is ready to serve.
