Peel off the skin, remove seed part and finely grate bottle gourd.
Heat 3 tbsp ghee in a pan.
Add chopped cashew nut and badam fry well. Take it out and keep it aside.
In a pan, add a grated bottle gourd and saute well.
Add 2 cups milk and cook well until milk evaporates and bottle gourd cooked well.
Once the bottle gourd cooked well, add sugar and color powder mix well.
After a few minutes, the sugar dissolves and it turns a little watery.
Stir well and cook this for a few minutes. After a few minutes, it starts to thicken.
Add 1 tbsp ghee and cardamom powder cook for a few minutes.
Add roasted cashew nuts into the halwa and mix well.
Lauki ka halwa is ready to melt in the mouth.
