Heat oil in a pan.
Add small onion and saute well.
Add coconut and saute until it turns golden brown. Allow this to cool for a few minutes.
In a mixer, add sauted small onion and coconut and grind into smooth paste by adding enough water.
Heat oil in a pressure cooker.
Add mustard seeds, cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise, cardamom and bay leaves saute well.
Add curry leaves and saute well.
Add chopped small onion and saute until it turns golden brown.
In a mixer, add ginger and garlic and grind them into a paste.
Add grinded ginger garlic into it and saute well.
Add chilly powder and chicken masala saute well.
Add chopped tomato saute well until tomato cooked well.
Add mutton and saute for a few minutes.
Add grinded coconut paste and saute for a few minutes.
Add salt and enough water into it mix well.
Cover and cook for 5 to 6 whistles.
Finally, add chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
Mutton curry is ready to serve.
