Take 15 palayankodan bananas, peel off the skin and cut it into pieces.
In a pressure cooker, add chopped bananas, cloves and water.
Cook for 2 whistles.
Take a pan and filter all juices in the banana.
Add ½ cup sugar and mix well.
Boil this liquid for few minutes. It turns a reddish color.
Add 2 tbsp lemon juice and mix well.
Boil for few minutes. Once it turns a little thick, switch off the flame. The liquid should not be thick, it's watery and slightly coated on the spoon.
Transfer it into a bowl and allow it to cool.
After cooling, it comes into a jam consistency.
Tasty banana jam is ready to serve.
