Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Sundakkai ((Turkey berry))
  • 1 Onion (chopped)
  • 1 Green chilly (chopped)
  • 1 Tomato (chopped)
  • 4 Egg
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • ¼ tsp Mustard seeds
  • Curry leaves (few)
  • ¼ tsp Turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp Red chilly powder
  • Salt (as needed)
  • Coriander leaves (few)

Instructions

  • Crush Sundakkai and wash it well with water and keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add mustard seeds and curry leaves and saute well.
  • Add chopped onion and green chilly saute well on low flame until it turns golden brown.
  • Add washed Sundakkai and saute well for a few minutes.
  • Add chopped tomato and saute for a few minutes.
  • Cover and cook for a few minutes on low flame until Sundakkai cooked well.
  • Once Sundakkai is cooked well, add red chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt and saute it well until a nice aroma comes.
  • Add eggs and mix well with Sundakkai.
  • Cover and cook for a few minutes on low flame.
  • After a few minutes stir well on low flame.
  • Finally, add chopped coriander leaves and stir well.
  • Tasty Sundakkai egg poriyal is ready to serve.
