Take a pan, add chopped pumpkin and water cook well.
Once the pumpkin is cooked well, smash it with a spoon.
In a mixer, add coconut, green chilly, jeera and turmeric powder grind it smoothly.
Add grinded paste and salt into the cooked pumpkin mix well and cook for a few minutes.
Once the raw smell of coconut paste goes, add curd and mix well.
Don’t allow it to boil. Just heat it after adding curd and keep it aside.
In another pan, add oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves and red chilly saute well.
Add this tempering into the pumpkin pachadi and mix well.
Yellow pumpkin pachadi / Yellow pumpkin raita is ready to serve with rice.
